I am miserable

that's all I have to say.. I am completely miserable. I want him out of me. I am done.

Baby's take home outfit!!!!

The first part of this blog is devoted to Shane. Shane is a wonderful step dad. He went and picked up my furniture and loaded it. He fixed Roger's car and saved us a couple hundred dollars. :) AND he endured hours with my mom shopping at babies r us looking at stuff he doesn't even care about.. I bet mom wouldn't even let him play with the toys! Anyway, he's awesome ;-)

Second part.... Roger and I went out today to the mall. He got to pick out the baby's take home outfit. It's super cute!!! Here's the pictures.

Updates

Some exciting news! Mom, grandma, and grandpa all came up over a 2 day period to help clean my apartment. It is now spotless thanks to grandma's cleaning obsession. The baby crib is all put together, the living room looks much bigger, and the baby's clothes and blankets and such are all washed and put away!

On Sunday Roger and I went to see Juno and out for lunch. We had some down time so we went to Once Upon a Child. We found the cutest bedding for only $60 so we bought it. I'll post pictures at the end of his new crib :-)

Classes started back up today. Wow did winter break fly right by! I didn't even have time to think! I only have class Tuesday and Thursday morning so it isn't so bad. Anyway, here are the pictures....

Cutest Baby EVER!

Here are 4 of the best 4D pictures we have :D He's so cutest baby I've ever seen and he looks JUST LIKE Roger!!! Poor guy haha just kidding ;-)

We also have a DVD of him moving about and the ultrasound itself. However, my computer won't allow me to save it to my computer so I can upload it onto the net.. SO I videotaped the DVD playing on my computer and now I am editing it and making it really pretty and I will post that when I'm finished with it! So far today I've spent 3 hours working on my computer getting these pictures up and working on the DVD. My scanner didn't work so I had to uninstall and reinstall the hardware. I had to download all the new updates for my computer so I wouldn't have issues later AND I've been messing with the stupid DVD to try and get it to copy... Neither Roger's PC nor my MAC will do it! Agh! But alas, here are the pictures for now. He's so cute I cried when I saw him :-)

To both of my sets of parents and my favorite grandparents and to Roger's parents: Merry Christmas!!! These pictures and DVD (as soon as I can get someone to burn them for me you will get a hard copy in the mail) are your Christmas presents. We hope you like it. :-)

Stressed!!!

Ugh I feel awful! I woke up Christmas eve with a sore throat. Then, I wake up Christmas day with a cold!!!! I spent this whole pregnancy NOT being sick and here I am with 45 days left and stuck with an awful cold! BOOO!! I was so careful too! Constantly washing my hands, not sharing any food, drink, lip balm, nothing with anyone else. So frustrating!!! >:-0

Christmas was awesome!!! My parents, grandparents, and aunt and uncle bought me a crap ton of kitchen stuff. I was so excited about it I washed everything as soon as I got home so I could use it lol. Mom also got me new makeup which I desperately needed. This pregnancy has made my hormones awful. I break out worse than a teenager!!! Anyway, I love my new makeup :)

Corbin also got a big box of Christmas presents from great grandma and grandpa! Someone must love him ;-) haha. I really want to wash everything and play with it, but I'm halfway worried that he is actually a she... I keep thinking, what if we saw the umbilical cord and not his manly parts? However, I saw it and well... It definitely was there. I guess I'm just all paranoid. Hopefully my paranoia will be cleared up soon ;-) It's not a huge deal to me really if she wears boy clothes. It's not like they are cut differently and babies all look unisex. It's hard to tell until they are older lol. Oh well. We'll see.

If it is a girl, we DO have a name so no worries there!

BTW tomorrow is my BIRTHDAY! Don't forget your pal Brittany is going to be 22, pregnant, and cranky! Who wouldn't want to make my day better?

50 Days!! Update with pictures :)

So it's been a while since I have been able to update.. ok, well remembered to update it. I did really well in school this semester with 5 A's and 1 B!!! My GPA went up .3 which allows me to apply for Teach for America!!! I am trying to enjoy my last vacation as a 'single' person, however, due to work I am NOT enjoying it :( I'm too tired to do anything but sleep after a shift. I don't know what to do and I'm so torn! I really want to quit just so I can relax and not be in pain everyday I work, but I love all my Scotty's people so much that I don't want to not be able to see them. I also think I'm in denial with myself. By quitting, I'm relying solely on Roger to support me until I graduate. He wants me to quit and he already does take great care of me, I just have a hard time letting him do that for me. I'm also sad because I'm working on my birthday :( I'm going to send out an email and see of someone will trade me shifts. I feel like all I ever do is complain about work and I don't enjoy it anymore. I honestly only enjoy laying on my couch or sleeping. I also enjoy eating, playing wow, surfing the net, and watching Friends and Sex and the City DVD's.

I'm so excited for Christmas Eve and Christmas!!! Grandma food and presents??!?! Huzzah!!!
I also got a great package in the mail from my dad! I love the presents!!! The jammies are wonderful, the air freshner smells great, I love the giftcards (will come in handy when I want to go eat after the baby!!!), and the lotions were wonderful too. :D Thank you so much (from Roger and I). We really loved our christmas presents :) I know some of it was my birthday, but regardless lol.

The baby moves constantly or so it seems! He is always squirming about in the early AM and late night (like now!). Roger and I are taking Rob to the airport in the morning and we have to leave at 5:45 AM so he can get there on time to catch his flight and get through security. I'm exhausted to begin with, let alone getting up so early and dealing with 2 grumpy boys!!! ARG! Okay, well I'm off to bed so I can at least function halfway in the morning. 64 days to go!

School is *almost* finally over. I have two finals left (Mon and Fri). If I do well on my history final tomorrow (mon) I will leave with either an A- or a B, but more likely with the B. I have a final in my political sci class that determines whether I get an A or a B and a paper grade in my other political sci class that determines whether I get an A or a B... Man it sucks being between those two! I'm hoping for A's on my two pol classes. The history, I just want a B. We'll see...

Right now I'm waiting on Roger to come get me so we can go see the Golden Compass. He's hanging out with Rob so we'll see when they come get me. I'm starving and I'm kind of pissed at him. He said he would wash the dishes (didn't), wanted to know when I would be home from work (5), I get home and he isn't here (which is why I didn't grab a bite to eat on the way home. I figured he would want dinner so I would cook, oh "I already ate like an hour ago" -gee thanks), and now I've been waiting for 30 minutes for him to come get me! I'm hungry, I don't feel like cooking just for myself!!!!!! He needs a good kick in the ass. Too bad I'm too small. I'll just bust out my raging hormones. *still waiting* Boys are so stupid half the time. Like, where is your brain? I know you aren't stupid.

I'm exhausted and this baby is killing my back! I gimp around everywhere! I can hardly stand to walk and shift my weight because my sciatica nerve hurts so bad!

I'll type more later. I have a headache and I want to kill Roger and Rob. They are not my favorite people right now. >:-0

E-mail from Target

I did not get the job. I am really surprised, but looking back at all the people I was competing against I guess I shouldn't have been surprised. Maybe it was me? Now I'm just discouraged.

69 days left!!!

I haven't had the chance to update for a while because of school. I finally got all my papers and exams out of the way except for one paper. It's due on Thursday. Next week is finals and I have three. One on Mon, Wed, and Fri. I'm so done with school. I know I have another semester left, but I am DONE for now. I'm just so tired :(

We had a doctors appointment yesterday, but she had to leave so we rescheduled for tomorrow (Wed) at 2:15. I'm nervous because Roger won't be there with me and quite frankly I find my doctor to be a little terrifying. I actually went prepared yesterday too with lots of questions. I didn't gain any weight between yesterday and my last appointment. I go every 2 weeks now. It's weird to think about him as an actual human instead of this thing in my stomach that kicks me and makes me giggle. He had a dance party in my uterus the other day. So Roger comes to bed at 4 AM and I wake up because the baby is going nuts in there. I have Roger put his hands on my stomach to feel it. In my lower left he was kicking me and in my upper right his hands were going to town. I don't know what the kid was listening to, but it was hilarious! For 20 minutes nonstop I felt like a host to some cool club I wasn't invited to.

I decided I will miss some parts of being pregnant and now I know why people want more than one.
1. justifiable cravings. Whoppers with cheese, hold the tomato, onion, pickle, add ketchup, mayo, and mustard... anyone?
2. feeling him kick me and having dance parties
3. good excuses for being late and lazy
4. seeing Rogers face light up when he feels him move
5. the hair on my legs just does NOT grow! I don't have to shave for a month.. seriously, I don't

Things I will not miss and reasons why people do not have more than one
1. sciatica pain OMG!
2. loss of center of gravity I am a clutz to begin with I don't need help falling!
3. brushing your teeth = loss of blood
4. brushing your teeth = puking for no reason
5. Contractions are painful!
6. weight gain
7. constant urge to pee
8. pee your pants for no reason
9. baby brain. They say it doesn't exist.. they lie!
10. your favorite foods cause heartburn and sour stomach. I'm a tums addict
11. Leaking. That's all I'm going to say about that....
12. I haven't had a martini since June. Roger knows that if he doesn't come to my side with a martini and a big plate of sushi as soon as Corbin is out, he's in trouble.

Speaking of, we decided to name him Corbin Wesley and since neither Roger nor I can keep secrets, well big secrets, we ended up telling everyone. My hosties at work call him Corby and now I do too. lol It's cute!

I had my job interview at Target last Thursday. I'm supposed to hear back from them within 7-10 days. Keep your fingers crossed!! I really want that job! I also hope my grades are good enough to raise my GPA so I can apply for the teaching job I want too. I hate this waiting game. Everything around me is wait wait wait! Wait for the baby, wait until after christmas to get anything ready for him, wait for my grades, wait for school to be over, wait for christmas and my birthday, wait to hear back from jobs, wait wait wait! AH!
